The first Moncler airport boutique in North America has opened at Canada’s Vancouver International Airport.
Hudson Group (a Dufry company), in partnership with luxury fashion brand Moncler, has announced the opening of the first duty-free Moncler freestanding boutique in North America at Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Located in the International Terminal, the 936 square-foot luxury shop will fulfil the desires of continent-hopping travellers, offering fashion ranging from Moncler’s men, women, and accessories lines, as well as the Moncler Genius collections (the latest collection launches on Feb 20).
“It’s an honour to partner with Moncler to open their first duty-free store in the North American market,” said Roger Fordyce, Chief Executive Officer of Hudson Group. “With Vancouver International Airport (YVR) celebrating its 25-millionth annual passenger in late 2018, two years ahead of forecast, our Hudson Group team is contributing to the airport’s accelerated growth while also expanding our very own brand strategy, which seeks to identify and maximize growth opportunities for individual brand partners and airports alike.”
The new Moncler boutique brings Hudson Group’s total duty-free footprint at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to 18 stores, and raises Moncler’s total duty-free locations worldwide to 16.
